Team Harry!
This is my first post and I have no idea what I am supposed to write about so I will start with the drama of my best friend and the two guys who love her. It is fresh in my mind as I just spoke to her about it about half an hour ago.
The names have been changed to protect the innocent.. and the guilty.
Diana is my best friend and she is currently dating Kyle. They love each other and talk about marriage and kids and they even live together, but haven’t even been together for a year yet. The are intensely serious about each other but lately things have been slowly sliding down hill. Did I mention that Kyle is a complete psycho? He has cheated on every girlfriend that he has ever had and Diana has never cheated on anyone before but Kyle doesn’t trust HER!! It makes no sense to me at all. He doesn’t like her going out with her friends and having a good time or basically doing ANYTHING without him. When they are apart he texts her every five minutes and asks things like “what are you doing?” “where are you?” “who are you with?” “when are you going to be home?” And when she is with me and gets these constant texts it even drives me insane. I don’t know if I could put up with someone like that for too long. He moved here from a small town which is about a 1-2 hours drive from here, and doesn’t have many friends here, but Diana is very friendly and sociable and has many friends, so he is jealous of her. She gets invited out and can’t go because HE doesn’t want to and wont let her go without him, or she goes without him cos he doesn’t want to go but then he has a bitch when she gets home because she went without him. It seriously does my head in. He is soooo insecure and EXTREMELY ugly and also has depression and anxiety which doesn’t help his temper so he is always getting angry at Diana and not letting her live her own life or have any freedom and I feel so sorry for her. And of course, being the best friend I hear all about it all the time from Diana. And I don’t mind, I just wish she found someone better. That’s where Harry comes in. Harry and Diana work together and are now good friends. Harry has strong feelings for Diana now and can’t believe she dates such a douche bag. Naturally I am on his side. He is really nice, has sooo much in common with Diana and would treat her like an absolute princess. He went out to the pub on a friday after work and invited Diana. She brought me along and I met Harry for the first time, BUT she had to lie to Kyle (who was at work) and told him that we were just at home having a girls night in and having a few drinks. But a college friend of his saw Diana at the pub and told him and then Kyle checked Diana’s online bank account and saw that she had drawn money out at the pub and started flipping out. When Diana got home they got into a pretty big fight and she eventually told him the truth and is not really allowed to hang out with Harry outside of work. But now because of how nice Harry is to her and how much they have in common and because they see each other every day at work, she now has feelings for him.
